So, if you are heading to Florida for some fun and sun or for the winter season, do you have a plan to workout while in West Palm Beach, Florida? With a little bit of focus and some discipline, you can stay fit and psyched while getting away from the cold north or just sneaking away for some R&R. So, from all of us here at West Palm Beach’s #1 personal training facility, I’ve made a plan for working out while in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Schedule It
You must have a schedule of when you want to workout and how you will workout. Don’t just show up at PBI and think about your health later. Focus now, before your trip to Palm Beach. Whether it’s 30 minutes of cardio running on the beach or a walk along West Palm Beach’s beautiful Flagler Drive, get out your calendars, check your schedule, and mark it down. Then commit to it! The folks that get the most out of training are focused and organized. EVEN when on vacation!
Choosing A Location In West Palm Beach
Find out where you are going. Many visitors to Palm Beach County know that there are many gyms and workout facilities in hotels and condos. Most of them are great, however some of you need a more serious, focused atmosphere for training. I have a 50 year old client who is tall and lean, but he wants to lose 10 pounds and feel better. He won’t work out in his condo, because it is filled with his chattering neighbors who he feels are there just to see their neighbors. He now walks to my studio making that part of his cardio workout. Like him, many of my clients are just good people who want to get in better shape. He is not a bodybuilder, but he is serious, focused, committed and he knows where he is going to work out.
Working Out With A Trainer
If you are serious, keep up the momentum. Consider a Palm Beach personal trainer who can assist you with a package or bundle of personal training sessions. Don’t view a vacation as a set back. Keep moving forward with your health and fitness goals. And, if you think a serious personal trainer in Boca Raton or Palm Beach Gardens is the answer, give it a try.
Bring A Friend
Don’t go at it alone. If you are traveling with others, see if they want to train with you. Get everyone on board. They’ll be glad you included them. And, many personal trainers can give you a group rate for personal training, cross training, weight lifting or whatever you may need.
Make A Commitment
Commit to morning cardio workouts, noon/lunch lifting sessions or even a post-dinner bike ride. Be decisive. Make it happen and make sure that you schedule time around your health and well-being. Or, another way of looking at it: commit to sneaking in your fitness regime in between meetings, appointments, visits or family gatherings. Staying healthy is a way of life. Staying fit is an attitude and also a relationship: with yourself. Don’t be afraid of commitment!
